**C Payne your back in WWFFL, does it feel good, and are there expectations for this Fall season?**
First of all I would like to say thank you for the interview and yes it feels great to be back in the wwffl I feel like I’m back at home.
My personal goals don’t differ from our team goals. D-mob had a winning reputation before I got there and the goals don’t change. The last time they were in the wwffl they made it to the championship and we don’t expect anything less.

**Tell me the truth- Do you miss that PURPLE?
Why did you move on from the Dragons?

Honestly I enjoyed my time with the dragons. My reasons for leaving were not personal at all I’m still cool with all of those guys I wish them the best of luck this year and in the future (except in week 5 when we play them) I decided to make the switch from the dragons to dmob because I wanted a chance to play for a national championship. And I felt I had the best chance to do so if I made the switch. So it had nothing to do with personnel.

**Some people have said “You gave up on the Dragons”
What would you tell them?**
As far as me giving up on the dragons, that is so far from the truth I was with them for 5 years. We went from a team that struggled to make playoffs to a top 4-5 team in the league. I didn’t give up on them I just needed a change everybody on the team weren’t playing for a chance to win a national championship and it is nothing wrong with that but that was my goal and I didn’t think I could obtain that with them

**Since you are also semi-pro football player. Does the flag experience help you?
And how do you turn those instincts on and off again?
Do you think its easier making the transition if you’re a defensive player than offensive?**
Playing flag helps me a lot especially when I played qb in semi-pro it’s still football so the things you see are pretty much the same as far as coverage’s in the defense. The thing I love about flag is you don’t get hit when you get sacked.

Yea but, Turning the switch on and off is very easy. Theirs nothing like the pads for me. My mind set is totally different with a helmet on. I would say it’s easier to make the transition on offense only because it’s hard to pull a flag especially if you are used to running into somebody full speed to make a tackle. Now you have to play more of a finesse game while trying to pull a flag.
** I`ll tackle your ass CPayne-I just have to catch you first, The Dragons goin to be at your *** in a couple of weeks, You better have your pads on for that.

As far as the “purple game” I only played them once and I have no hard feelings towards those guys but I will say “we were the better purple team hands down”

The Dragons have talent but-**
I had no idea they would struggle like this I knew it would be different but not like this hopefully they will figure some things out and finish the season stronger than they started.

**D-Mob- what has been the best and the worst (hardest) transition for you with them?
**
The hardest thing was learning the system form the qb position. I played in the nationals with them for the last two years but I was a WR and I played safety so learning the system was the hardest thing for me. I’m still learning it but I am always up for a challenge.

I’m a big Jay-Z fan so the blue print 3 or his best album “Reasonable Doubt” you can’t go wrong with that one at all.

Yeah I think we are ready I mean we still have some kinks to work out but by the time states and nationals get here we will be in a place to win it all.
