Van Peezy
Sep 21, 2009 5:28 PM | Someone asked Peezy, via e-mail (VanPeezy@wwffa.com), why no week 2 breakdown...
My response came in the form of one close game, 3 shut outs, a 2 point showing and an average margin of victory of 22.7 points in week 2.
The A teams overall showed a bit of dominance, while the B teams left little doubt that there is a slight separation between themselves and the big dog league.
Shouts out to RBI (holding D-Mob to 13 pts) and Usual Suspects. The Suspects were the only B team to hold a lead late in the game, but Mr Spring 2009 MVP showed why he was just that. But please never refer to yourselves as a B team. It`s about competition...team vs team, man vs man. Never look down on your team as if you can`t stand up and beat the best. There may be 2 leagues, but there is only one ultimate goal: to be the best.
The one common theme in each game was scoring. It`s flag. If you can`t score, you can`t win.
So let`s get these Offenses in gear.
Week 3 is right around the corner.
