I would give you a game by game breakdown...but I did that before the playoffs ever started. And what do you know...all of my playoff predictions were correct. I should go to Vegas next week and make a buck or two.
Nevertheless, I will share some insight to the weekend`s festivities.
Biggest surprise: FU showed up in a big way...and helped set the table for the biggest upset since States (see: D-Mob vs P-Town and WUW vs Firm).
Biggest disappointment: Westwood came out with nothing. Overrated? nah. But undermanned Saturday for a super-athletic Primetime team.
The Gunz lose their 1st postseason game since...since...2007 States. WOW. That is an amazing accomplishment.
AmFam and Power rumble til the clock hit :00. I dare you to bet against Power in the Fall. They will be back in full force. Believe that.
Swarm officially earns his stripes by snatching the game winner from 2 Gunz players and waltzing into the end zone.
The most overlooked WR this season (but he killed pretty much everybody) has to be Mr..."Bllrrrrrrr...what happened to that boy" aka Kuzo aka Bird Man aka Busta "Woo-hah I got all you DBs in check!"
And of course, who can forget the newest catch phrase in the league..."DROP!" I thought the Beastie Boys were playing. Uncle Leroy from WUW is filing a lawsuit for copyright infringement against Primetime`s sideline.
An outstanding season overall:
-Heismen made the playoffs
-AmFam knocked off a quality opponent...twice
-Westwood emerged as the only team to beat The Boys from Bad News
-Primetime overcame adversity and knocked off the Ruffin Road Bully
-Gunz finish the r e g season as the only undefeated team
-FU showed up big time in the playoffs and almost knocked off the seemingly unbeatable Gunz
Congrats to the MVP - GJ (maybe that VP interview helped...and winning the ship of course)
Congrats to the 2009 Champs "Teams to rip, more ships to get, I suggest you all roll with the click...WhoUWit"

Can we get an encore, yep we want more, ride up 64 to play them Richmond boys AND for one more season, I need yall to roar (roar roar roar roar).
I`m here all year.
