Last weekends hectic pace was fueled by the game of the week...
Primetime and FU had a FACEOFF-
Down to the last seconds.
Primetime getting a defensive stop amidst some controversy but nonetheless squeezed out a dire win.
IPower just couldn`t get a break against the chants of WHOuWIT!!!
A clip is a clip but hey the Refs saw it as a bailout play- If Obama can give a Bailout -why cant the Refs at Ruffin Rd give one?
Costly turnovers hurt IPower just as much in the bid for a upset.
Gunz vs Westwood started off good, But Gunz dog like persistence in the Red-Zone sent echoes through the league.
THE ENDZONE IS SACRED LAND.
both teams racked up yards, but when the ball arrived in the red zone. Gunz put up and Westwood shut up!
That was the game in a nut shell. There was no stanky leg rendition but I did see a Jordanesque move by the only Real White Chocolate in this league.
Gunz capitalized on turnovers, while Westwood dropped their chances.
(How big would the Int dropped by Westwoods corner in the end zone would have been?)
For Gunz it was Practice once again.
For the West Wood clan it was exactly what they needed.

First up American Family vs IPower.
Thr first time these two teams played. Bree got the start and was a bit flustered at times. Bad throws and alot of pressure was giving Ipower fits. Amfamily on the other hand was rolling, throwing, and

( i maybe off a litlle on that )
But clearly AmFamily was dominating- Finally IPower made some changes and Power put some SNAP on and went on the attack. BUT
Paul ran back a kickoff and some more turnovers late by Power and the game was over. It was a blowout and at times - competitive, but at the end... Clearly Ipower was over matched.
This time its for the right to play again.
Ipower probably should start Larome over Bree...
Bree can get a play here and their, but Larome needs to start. AFam is goin to play zone. Simply Larome will be better against it early. Let him get a rhythm and see what happens. Will that happen?
Prob not, It seems like Larome only gets to play qb when they down 14 or 21 points. He brings them back only to force some throws and ultimatley lose the game. AFam is going to bring the pressure. You have the Thundercat and the Thunder dome.
Bodies will be flying especially if IPower line is sitting off the line of scrimmage,
What is up with that? They gave WHOuWIT rushers momentum, and when you have big strong agile rushers like that. Your line is sitting on their hunches and taking a beating, but hey Im just sitting on the couch with a pepsi but that just seemed wrong.
Anyway Ipower has to get those two wr Noonie and Ky goin early,? Then they can start the slants and wr screens to wayne and etc. Ipower may try and use a small mobile center.
DONT DO IT, he will get knocked out, around and ultimately botch a couple of snaps when AFAM sends the THUNDER!

Rome I agree with what you said about Power, and think the game may be a little more competitive than it was the 1st time but Amfam pulls it out by two td`s. What is your take on the rest of the 1st round games? |

Gunz vs FU...
This game had alot of similarities to Westwood and GUNZ.
FU moves inside the red zone and cant puinch it in. Look for the same things to occur in this one. Ron and company have to think out side the box. Do smthing that Gunz dont expect them to do. Did you see how Gunz take away the edge eliminating the sideline. The out is open but the ball better be thrown well. Its a small window and everyone hates a pic in the redzone. Chris, Still, Davon, Jay, Len Daniels are oppurtunist. If they get a oppurtunity its a wrap. You wont see many dropped int from this crew. Can Ron scheme up some new plays or formations that may get Gunz confused?
Maybe once or twice but it wont be enough.

West Wood and Primetime...
This game will be interesting.
Amidst rumors of flukes,missed flags, and pitches that defied logic.
There was a winner the first time- WWood...
So i had to research and find out whats goin on behind the scenes. This is what i found out.
WWood stopped Ptime twice.
On the first drive and a pic in the endzone. Primetime converted some crucial 3rd and longs, and 3x Westwood had Ptime in a fourth down situations with one of them being 4th and long.
Primetime stopped WWood 2x
WWood threw a pic on 1st down, after stopping Primetime on downs. and once on downs.
From there Primetime still had control of the game. Looking to get some separation before the half. When a Wwood picked off a pass in the endzone. That score would - have put Primetime up 2 scores,; instead In the closing seconds a dupe play was ran twice. on the second one a wr double move set up the defender, Double pass = Touchdown!
This score made it possible for WWood to play Primetime even for the majority of the game.
Primetime ended up driving and succesfully running alot of time of the clock. Ptime scored and took a narrow lead but on the kickoff...
Ptime decided to squib a kick that was caught by a line man who basically ran a 2-1 pitch play for the speedster who was caught at the 6yd line.
WWood scored and that was the game.
I dnt see many adjustments made in this game by WWood. The QB SOURCE said he had time to watch his line push Ptime Def line around before he had to throw a pass.
Well D-mob will have smthing to say about that bc everybody knows- Joe and company will be deep for this one. Kelly maybe snooping around but i still dont see any pressure from Ptime on the Qb. WWood pressure was constant but you have to pull Joe flag. This is where he hurts you. PTime center is suspect. He cant catch and he really cant block. Joe will use kelly there eventually. Still
Not enough
WWood has more in the six shooter than Joe has in the Pop gun.
But if Joe can pop gun the long ones. it will be a battle.

WhouWit vs Heisman.
I dont want to say anything bad about Heisman but its not bad but they have a slow time adjusting to what offenses are doing to them. In at least 2 of the losses they had. Comeback atempts were outstanding but you cant put all that pressure on the offense. Im goin to help Rell and crew out. To be competitive. you better have some speed on the edge rush. If you play 4-4 put your beef on the inside, if you send three, put your beef on the inside.
What ever you do, ***ardless of who is qb WHO?
Speed on the outside will help. Offensively take ur time. they dont scheme anything up on def. They sending the big boys and they sitting in zones.
Also put your best defender on Busta Rhymes...

No disrespect to FU but not scoring in the first meeting gives Gunz all the advantage in the world in the rematch. FU Had chances yes, but have to capitalize on them Sat to make it a good game if they want the upset. Gunz has the veteran leadership and experience to withstand a run by FU if they make one, and if Fu dont score early the game will not be competitive. Gunz win by 14 |

Next its the rematch that Primetime has wanted since taken that loss in week 7. The game was a good one but in the end WWood walked away victorious. Some say it was a fluke, or if we would have done this or that we would have won,or they got some lucky plays on us..... Well now its the time to put up or shut! Wood has a good team, not a great team but a good team. The reason I say good and not great is because whle they can score points, their D is not good enough to stop their opponents. But Wood does enough to get the win in the end so thats all that matters. Prime- They have a solid bunch of guys and with the addition of the D-Mobb players, it should help them to not crack under pressure. Prime O is good, if you dont pull flags you get burned and if you sleep they will hit the big play. I see this game being like the first game and being close once again. Can Wood finally win in the post season and get back to their winning ways? Or is Prime ready to get that nasty taste out their mouths from the L they took a few weeks ago?....

Now the rematch of a 38 point beatdown, WHOUWIT Vs. Heisman
The first matchup was supposed to be the coming out party for Joe Flacco.... It was anything but that, and the respect demanding Heisman bunch took their worst loss of the season in a game that seemed anything but competitive. They have had some success since then by making their way into the playoffs, but will it be enough to stop whichever QB that plays for WUW? Busta Rhymes as you put Rome? or a D that is better than everyone is giving credit to? So many questions and only 1 answer... You dont lose to a team by 38 and win the next time around. Heisman I saw your video on YouTube, Nice. But after this game you will have plenty of time to work on your acting careers.
