i didnt want 2 believe it was true but.
A Richmond man today pleaded no contest to charges that he tried to hire another man to kill his p***nant ex-girlfriend.
Raymond Martin Scott, 32, entered the pleas in Richmond Circuit Court to charges of soliciting to kill the woman, Nakeisha Holliday, and to solicitation to kill a fetus. A charge of attempted capital murder was withdrawn.
Prosecutors say Scott tried to hire a hit man Dec. 4, but the man contacted police and then acted as an informant, helping police record conversations that implicated Scott.
Scott faces up to 45 years in prison. Sentencing is set for June 17
